Background
The United States Coast Guard (USCG) Training Center (TRACEN) Yorktown, Virginia, is responsible for training USCG Active Duty, Reservists, and Auxiliarists in various techniques and applications. The center also provides training to personnel from other armed services, State and Federal agencies, and allied nations.

The facility spans approximately 154 acres along the York River and operates year-round barracks that house USCG students, members, and authorized patrons.

Work Details
The Contractor is required to provide comprehensive Barracks Management Services which include:
1. Barracks Monitoring/Hotel Type Front Desk Operations;
2. Janitorial Services;
3. Linen Services.

The Contractor must manage all aspects of these services including administration, execution, planning, supervision, and provision of necessary materials and equipment (excluding government-furnished items). Specific tasks include:
a) Building management;
b) Supply and warehousing;
c) Quality control;
d) Work order operation;
e) Financial control;
f) Maintenance of accurate records related to Federal, State, and local regulations;
g) Preparation of reports and historical data compilation;
h) Ensuring courteous interactions with barracks occupants and government personnel;
i) Providing all expendable supplies and employee uniforms;
j) Managing installation and maintenance of telephone and Internet services for on-site use.

The Contractor must adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, standards, and best practices as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The objective is to ensure health, safety, comfort, and superior customer service while maintaining sanitary conditions in the barracks.

The contract will be performed at the United States Coast Guard Training Center located in Yorktown, Virginia.
