The contractor shall perform the required specified tasks and all implied tasks required by the Statement of Work. Please see the attachments to this announcement for the solicitation and supporting documents.

Background
This solicitation is issued by the US Coast Guard Regional Support Team – Southwest (RST-SW) for the replacement of barracks doors at Building 24/26 on Coast Guard Island, Alameda, CA. The project aims to replace forty-seven (47) fire-rated doors to meet USCG technical requirements and support operational needs. This requirement is set aside for small businesses, with a total small business set aside status.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to replace forty-seven (47) fire-rated doors at Building 24/26. The scope includes:
1. Project Management: Designate a single point of contact for communications and coordinate all work with the USCG's Representative.
2. Confirm all door and frame dimensions for proper fit.
3. Clear interferences and move furniture to facilitate the removal of existing doors and installation of new doors.
4. Replace existing doors with new commercial wood fire-rated doors, including hardware, locksets, and cores that comply with USCG standards.

Period of Performance
The contractor shall commence work within 10 calendar days after receiving the notice to proceed and complete the work within 60 calendar days after receipt of the notice to proceed.
