Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Kansas City District plans to solicit offers for a stand-alone C-type contract for Fiscal Year 2019 flood damage repair to the Missouri River Navigation channel between river miles (RM) 0-140 as part of the Bank Stabilization and Navigation Program (BSNP). The consolidation memorandum justifies the consolidation of this procurement as necessary and justified based on market research and the urgent need for construction services to repair stone dikes and revetments on the Missouri River.

Work Details
The work includes repairing, modifying, or constructing dikes and revetments, constructing new bank paving and hard points, and placing repair overlays along existing revetments on the Missouri River between River Miles (RM's) 0-140. The construction tasks involve extensive damage repair to structures controlling the navigation channel of the Missouri River caused by the 2019 Flood Event. The work will be performed using floating plant equipment, with tonnage ranging from 500 tons up to 30,000 tons per structure. The procurement history indicates that similar repairs on a smaller scale have been completed under small business MATOCs since approximately 2010.
