Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), NAS Patuxent River, MD, awarded Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation Aerospace Systems (NGAS), San Diego, CA, a sole-source, Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) type Delivery Order under the Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) Contract N00019-20-G-0005, Delivery Order number N0001923F0436, Solicitation N00019-22-RFPREQ-WPM262-0288. NGAS will procure the Non-recurring Engineering (NRE) for the redesign of the BAMS Airborne Recorder (BAR) in support of the MQ-4C Triton Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). NAVAIR procured this requirement in accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
