The 436th Contracting Squadron intends to issue a direct award to Safe Life Defense LLC 1379 Raiders WAY Henderson, Nevada 89052-4618 (SAM UEI: MN11BA63AZX5) for 436th Security Forces Squadron. To meet the requirements stated in DAFI 31-118: SF personnel conducting law enforcementoperations must have lightweight body armor with minimum threat level II or higher, AFSC SMARTNet website was utilized to find a list of approved equipment.

The Government intends to procure from only one source under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), Soliciting from a single source. Interested organizations may submit clear and convincing evidence to support their ability to provide the needed commodity in writing to daniel.kim.55@us.af.mil and sydney.hocker.1@us.af.mil and 436CONS.PKB.ORG@us.af.mil no later than 4:30 pm (EST), 11 February 2025.

Background
The 436th Contracting Squadron is issuing a direct award to Safe Life Defense LLC for the procurement of ballistic vests for the 436th Security Forces Squadron. This initiative is in accordance with DAFI 31-118, which mandates that law enforcement personnel must have lightweight body armor with a minimum threat level of II or higher.

The goal of this contract is to enhance the safety and operational effectiveness of security forces personnel through the provision of advanced protective equipment.

Work Details
The contract involves the procurement of Safe Life Defense Hyper Concealable Hyperline Level IIIA ballistic vests. These vests are designed to provide superior protection and comfort for law enforcement officers. Key specifications include:
