Ballistic Helmets - Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Case TU-B-UDO

The U.S. Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) is issuing this solicitation for the procurement of ballistic helmets under Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Case TU-B-UDO, specifically for the country of Tunisia.

The goal of this contract is to support the U.S. Army Security Assistance Command (USASAC) located in New Cumberland, PA, by providing essential protective gear to foreign military forces.

Work Details
The contract requires a total of fifty (50) helmets, specifically: ten (10) medium, thirty (30) large, and ten (10) extra-large. The helmets must be brand name or equal to ArmorSource Ballistic Aire II Helmets. All items must be new equipment only; remanufactured or 'gray market' items are not acceptable.

Each helmet must meet the following specifications:
- Ballistic Protection: AR/PD 14-01; NIJ level IIIA
- Fragments Protection: 17 grain V50 > 2400 f/s (732m/s)
- 9MM BFD/Trauma: 9-mm RTP/BFD < 1" average
- Extreme Testing Conditions: Performs under temperatures between 160°F (71°C) and -60°F (-51°C); performs after 3 hours sea water immersion.

Configuration components include Airesupport prime suspension system, Airerail, Airemount, and Operational loop system. Accessories include Airelink retention system and helmet cover. All items must comply with Berry Amendment requirements.
