Ballistic Armoring System and Accessories

On behalf of the Department of the Navy, Naval Air System Command (NAVAIR), located out of Patuxent River, MD, this is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the supply of Ballistic Armory System and Accessories for the H-53K King Stallion aircraft. GSA intends to award a firm fixed price (FFP), single-award, Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for the supply of Ballistic Armoring System & Accessories for the sustainment of the CH-53K King Stallion The manufacturer of the required parts is The Protective Group (TPG), a Point Blank Enterprises (PBE) company. This acquisition is being conducted under FAR 8.4, the Federal Supply Schedules (FSS) program. It is anticipated the BPA will be awarded against the Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) contracts, in accordance with FAR 8.405-6(b)(1), items peculiar to one manufacturer. Reference attached Brand Name Justification (BNJ). ALL QUOTES AND ALL SUPPORTING DOCUMENTATION SHALL BE SUBMITTED THROUGH THE E-BUY SYSTEM ON THE GSA ADVANTAGE WEBSITE AND ARE DUE ON OR BEFORE THE DATE AND TIME LISTED ON GSA eBUY. Written answers to questions received, will be provided via amendment to the RFQ on eBuy no later than 14 days after the RFQ is posted and will be viewable by all prospective Quoters. Questions submitted after the cut-off date will not be considered. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparation of a response to this request for quote.
