B1997 Facility Security System

Background
The contract is issued by Shaw Air Force Base, which is responsible for ensuring the security and safety of its facilities. The goal of this contract is to enhance the security measures at Building 1997 through the installation of a comprehensive camera and door access control system.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, installation, and training for installing five (5) cameras and two (2) door access controls (electric door strikes). The installation will include:
- Two (2) 180-degree cameras located on the NE and SW corners of building 1997.
- One (1) doorbell camera facing the main door of vestibule 112 (conduit already in place).
- One (1) overhead camera facing the main door of Room 112 (conduit already in place at indoor camera locations).
- One (1) corridor camera facing the two main entrance doors to rooms 108 and 112.
- Two (2) Simplex E5010 E-Plex (or equal) Electronic Pushbutton Compatible electric door strikes—one for door 108 and one for door 112, capable of being unlocked from a single remote location in room 103. All cameras must be Power over Ethernet (PoE) to provide electrical power. The Contractor must ensure compliance with UFC-4-133 section 3-9, UFC-020-01 DoD Security Engineering Facilities Planning Manual, and UFC 4-010-01 DoD Minimum Antiterrorism Standards for Buildings.

Period of Performance
The estimated period of performance for this project is 60 calendar days from the contract award date.

Place of Performance
Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina.

Bidder Requirements
This opportunity is set aside for Small Business Set Aside - Total (SBA). Bidders must ensure that all equipment complies with national electric code standards and must procure equipment that meets specified military standards. Contractors must also ensure that all employees undergo criminal background checks prior to being issued base access credentials.
