Background
The project is issued by the United States Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) located at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska. The goal of the contract is to replace the carpet in the atrium, corridors, and offices of Lower Level 1 in Building 1000 (B1000). This initiative aims to enhance the facility's aesthetics and functionality by providing new carpet flooring and reusing serviceable materials where possible.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, administration, and services necessary for the following tasks:

1. Remove existing carpet flooring from specified areas.

2. Prepare the subfloor for new carpet installation.

3. Install new carpet in the atrium (approximately 1,450 sq yards), corridors (approximately 1,450 sq yards), and office spaces (approximately 300 sq yards) of Lower Level 1.

4. Salvage serviceable carpet tiles from corridors for reuse in office spaces.

5. Ensure that all new carpet conforms to specified building standards and material requirements as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).

6. Maintain operationality of corridors during work by coordinating with project management for scheduling and phasing of activities.

Period of Performance
150 days after receiving notice to proceed.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must meet the following requirements:
- Small Business Set Aside - Total (SBA).
- Provide bid/payment/performance bonds as required.
