THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT FOR REQUEST FOR QUOTE. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item being procured in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information as included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes/proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The National Park Service intends to solicit quotes for a service to Update Scope of Collections Statements for Keweenaw National Historic Park in Michigan.
This is the solicitation number 140P6423Q0039 and is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). This requirement is a 100% total small business set-aside. The associated NAICS code is 712110. The small business size standard is $34 M. Provisions and clauses are, incorporated in this solicitation document. Anticipated Award Date: June 2023

Independently, and not as an agent of the Government, the Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to provide the service to Update Scope of Collections Statements for Keweenaw National Historic Park.

GENERAL INFORMATION: This solicitation is a Request for Quote (RFQ) Solicitation issued on Standard Form (SF) 1449. Award of this
contract will be made according to FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. All references to proposal in
this solicitation shall be understood to mean quotation. Quotations shall be evaluated in an impartial manner and
consideration given to those with the highest perceived value to the government.
Contract Type: The contract awarded as a result of this solicitation will be a firm-fixed priced commercial service contract.

Background

Work Details
The contractor is required to furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to provide the service to Update Scope of Collections Statements for Keweenaw National Historic Park in Michigan. The solicitation requires completion of the SF Form 1442, submission of invoices, and signing the SF 30 if amendments are acknowledged. Quotes are due by 12:00 PM ET, May 22, 2023, and must be submitted via email.
The solicitation also requires completion of a Technical Questionnaire and submission of three prior experiences of projects in similar size and scope within the past five years.

Period of Performance
Delivery is required within 300 days after award, with an anticipated award date in June 2023.
