Telemetry, Scientific, Comms, & Engineering IDIQ   3

Background
The United States Department of the Interior, Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE), on behalf of the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM), is awarding an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract. The contract is a Full-and-Open (Unrestricted) Competitive Solicitation and Request for Proposals (RFP) issued to meet the Government’s Requirements Titled: “Telemetry, Scientific, Communications, and Engineering Support Services.” The Product Service Code B510—Special Studies/Analysis - Environmental Assessments, is also applicable to the Government’s Requirements.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, services, logistical support, and supplies necessary to perform the Section C Statement of Work. The tasks include providing logistical support services for BOEM studies incorporating acoustics and spatial telemetry; analytical support services for systems modeling, data consolidation, analysis, and scenario analysis modeling; support for the development of innovative science communication, education, and outreach initiatives; vessel support for at-sea research; geospatial, kinematic, and acoustic analysis support services related to animal physiological studies; workshop planning and execution; collaboration/citizen science workshop using open-source tools such as OpenCTD or related open-source technology; and engineering support for hardware customization services design of open-source telemetry tags.

Period of Performance
The ordering period shall not exceed five (5) years from date of award. Delivery/Task Orders issued against this IDIQ will specify individual performance periods.

Place of Performance
The primary place of performance is anticipated to be at the Contractor’s location. Ultimately, the primary place of performance will be detailed at the task order level.
