Description

The United States Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) seeks contractors to provide support for peer review and assessment activities for the Office of Research and Development (ORD). The scope of this contract is intended to be broad-based, encompassing the full array of peer review services; as well as planning, arranging, administering, and conducting workshops and meetings in support of the peer review process. Successful contractors will supply all necessary personnel and services to support the efforts delineated by the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Services to be performed under this contract include: providing peer review support (including scientific and technical peer reviews and editorial peer reviews of scientific and technical articles); providing workshop and meeting support in association with the peer review process; developing documents and issue papers on mission related issues; preparing instructional materials to communicate the purpose and scope of the Agency?s guidelines; and providing literature searches in support of the Agency?s mission. Be advised that Performance Work Statement changes are possible when the final request for proposal (RFP) is released. This procurement shall be conducted using Full and Open competition procedures. The proposed contract will be an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity task order contract with a base period of five years. EPA anticipates the award of one or two contracts under this solicitation. The NAICS code is 541990 with a size standard of $6.5 million. The solicitation, PR-CI-06-10819, is anticipated to be available mid-August 2006 and will be posted on the EPA?s home page on the World Wide Web (www.epa.gov). The direct link URL for the RFP when issued is http://www.epa.gov/oam/cinn_cmd. It is the responsibility of offerors to frequently check the EPA website address for updates or changes. No hard copies will be available. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the agency.
