This is a Competitive Award Notice in Accordance with FAR 8.405-6(a).
The U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management (BLM) requests services to assist in the preparation to amend the California Desert Conservation Area Plan
(CDCA) and the Desert Renewable Energy Conservation Area Plan (DRECP) to then include new decision that will align the proclamation lands of the Mojave Trails National Monument.
The BLM will need assistance to prepare one (1) National Monument Management Plan (MMP) amendment to be completed one (1) Environmental Assessment (EA) for BLM administered public
lands. The public lands are currently managed according to the 1980 California Desert Conservation Area Plan (CDCA), 2016 Desert Renewable Energy Conservation Plan (DRECP) and
the 2002 Northern and Eastern Colorado Desert Coordinated Management Plan (NECO), the 2002 Northern and Eastern Mojave Desert Management Plan (NEMO), and the West Mojave Route
Network Project (WEMO) and administered out of the Needles, Barstow, and Palm Springs South Coast Field Offices.
A firm fixed task order is awarded against the BLM NEPA BPA 140L0618A0014 for $839,817.33 for the period of performance from 06/01/2023-09/30/2024.
