Background
The U.S. Department of the Interior, Indian Affairs, has issued solicitation no. 140A1620R0038 for Facilities Condition Assessment Services. The contract aims to develop and report a comprehensive assessment of Indian Affairs' existing real property inventory, focusing on illustrating the current condition and needs of funded facilities and infrastructure in 11 regions and 28 states. The assessments will provide data to define the level of capital reinvestment needed to maintain the facilities as safe, reliable, functional, and energy efficient.

Work Details
The contractor is required to perform a visual non-destructive evaluation of each asset (exterior and interior), grounds, structural components, building systems, and infrastructure. This includes site inspections, review of pertinent documents, data analysis and calculation based on engineering analysis and experience, field collections of specific data elements during onsite assessment process, improved comprehensive reporting functionality and capabilities, interoperability for transfer of contract deliverables into the Indian Affairs-Facility Management System (IA-FMS), platform technology, analysis and reporting tools necessary to generate data analysis, data queries, and output reporting for IA sites/buildings.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the base period is from 09/30/2020 to 09/29/2021. Additionally, there are option periods extending the performance period up to 09/29/2025.

The place of performance is at various locations within 11 regions and 28 states.
