Background
The Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge (BANWR) is seeking to establish a five-year blanket purchase agreement for monthly water monitoring, testing, and management. The purpose of this contract is to secure the services of a Public Water System (PWS) Operator with PWS certificate for Distribution-1 - Treatment-2 to collect water samples as required by the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ). The testing should be conducted per the requirements of ADEQ.

The BANWR, located at 37257 S Sasabe Hwy, Sasabe, AZ 85633, aims to deliver safe and reliable drinking water to the Buenos Aires community and visitors with the highest standards of water quality and safety.

Work Details
The services required include monthly bacteriological monitoring for total coliform at each of the 6 distribution systems, new source testing to establish a baseline, managing, monitoring, and sampling six Entry Point to Distribution Systems (EPDS), as well as conducting various types of water sample tests such as nitrate, nitrite, asbestos, synthetic organic contaminants, volatile organic contaminants, inorganic contaminants, lead and copper, and revised total coliform. Sampling reports for each monitoring period are due to ADEQ no later than 10 days past the end of that monitoring period.
