Description

The National Weather Service (NWS), National Center for Environmental Prediction (NCEP), Central Operations (NCO) is responsible for the management of NWS networks that support weather and climate forecasting, model development, testing, and dissemination of NWS operational products. This tool is paramount to meeting the Department of Commerce (DOC), NOAA, and NWS requirements that government IT systems maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date system component inventory. It will also improve the ability to reconcile vulnerability scan coverage with asset inventory.

The base period of performance is April 15, 2023 through April 14, 2024. There are an additional four, one-year option periods, with a total estimated completion date of April 14, 2028.
