Background
The Marine Corps Field Contracting System at Marine Corps Installations East, located at Camp Lejeune, NC, intends to award a sole source contract to Axon Enterprise, Inc. This decision is based on the determination that only one source is reasonably available due to proprietary rights and the specific requirements of the contract.

The goal of this contract is to procure software licenses necessary for the operation of Axon body cameras used by the Provost Marshal’s Office at Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, SC.

Work Details
The contract involves the purchase of the following Axon Body Camera licenses:
- 23 Pro user licenses
- 147 Basic user licenses
- 200 Ala Carte storage licenses
- 112 Device Connectivity and FUSUS livestreaming licenses.

These licenses are essential for utilizing livestreaming capabilities, uploading, storing, and sharing videos captured by Axon AB3 and AB4 body cameras. Each body camera operator or administrator must have an individual account/license for evidence.com to ensure proper functionality and compliance with evidentiary standards.

Period of Performance
The geographic location(s) the contract will be performed (if provided)

Place of Performance
The primary place of performance will be at Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, South Carolina.

Bidder Requirements
Bidders must demonstrate their ability to meet the specific requirement for Axon Body Camera software licenses as only Axon Enterprises can provide these due to their proprietary rights. No other vendors are authorized to offer these licenses, making it essential for bidders to have direct access or authorization from Axon.

Incumbent Analysis (see Incumbents section for more detail)
This opportunity appears to have a confirmed incumbent based on the prior contract M6700125P1018 awarded to Axon Enterprise for an “Axon Pro License Bundle and Service Agreement” valued at $63,880 (05/01/25–04/30/26). The current requirement similarly seeks Axon body camera software/evidence platform licensing (Pro and Basic user licenses, storage, and device connectivity/FUSUS livestreaming) to support AB3/AB4 video livestreaming, uploading, storage, and sharing, which is consistent with a continuation of the same Axon licensing and service support needed to operate the body camera evidence workflow.
