AWOS Maintenance   2

Background
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is soliciting industry interest and capability to provide maintenance service for All Weather Incorporated (AWI) Automated Weather Observer System (AWOS) 3000-3PT equipment, a Non-Federal AWOS, for a period of three years. This transfer is pursuant to 49 U.S.C. § 44502(e), allowing airports to transfer eligible air traffic systems or equipment to the FAA if certain conditions are met. The FAA must then operate and maintain these systems or equipment under FAA criteria.

Work Details
The FAA requests interested vendors to submit company proof of certification to maintain AWI AWOS 3000-3PT, a completed Business Declaration Form, a detailed maintenance service plan indicating the type and frequency of services, corporate capabilities such as the skill level and availability of service technicians trained on maintaining and certifying an AWI AWOS 3000PT equipment, and delivery of submittals in writing electronically by no later than 5 PM EST on September 30, 2021.

Period of Performance
The period of performance for the contract is three years.
