Award of Sole-Source IDIQ to L3 Harris Technologies, Inc.

Background
The Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) is issuing a sole-source, five-year, single award Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract to L3Harris Technologies, Inc. for the continued procurement of engineering services related to the Commercial Broadband Satellite Program (CBSP).

The CBSP's mission is to provide terminal-to-shore, space, and terrestrial connectivity for the U.S. Navy's operational needs. This contract aims to ensure ongoing support for the CBSP Force Level Variant (FLV) and Unit Level Variant (ULV) terminals, components, and spares.

Work Details
The contract will encompass continued engineering services for all CBSP systems, including:
1. Resolution of complex technical issues associated with CBSP systems.
2. Repair and refurbishment services for deployed CBSP terminals within the Fleet.
3. Engineering services will be procured on a Cost-Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) basis.
4. Components and spares will be procured on a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) basis.
5. The estimated ceiling for this contract is $22.8 million, funded through various appropriations including Operation and Maintenance, Navy (OMN), Other Procurement, Navy (OPN), Ship Construction Navy (SCN), and Other Customer Funds (OCF).

Place of Performance
The work will primarily take place in locations relevant to the U.S. Navy's operations, including both domestic and potentially Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS) locations.
