Description

In accordance with FAR 41.103(b), Delegated Authority, on 06 April 2023, Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Northwest awarded on a sole-source basis, a 10-year firm-fixed price utility services contract with the Utility Provider, Public Utility District No. 1 of Jefferson County (JPUD), for electrical utility services in support of Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Keyport facilities at multiple locations near Naval Magazine Indian Island, Zelatched Point, and Port Townsend, Washington. Attached, is the Justification & Approval (J&A) citing 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements.

The estimated 10-year total value is approximately $4M based upon current consumption rates.
