Description

The Avionics Intermediate Shop (AIS) Systems Sustainment Program, located in the 416 Supply Chain Management Squadron (SCMS), is responsible for ensuring the operational capability of AIS Systems worldwide through the sustainment of Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) components contained within the Advanced Computer Avionics Intermediate Shop (AdC AIS), Improved Avionics Intermediate Shop (IAIS), Versamodule Extensions for Instrumentation Improved Avionics Intermediate Shop (VXIIAIS), and Rackmount Improved Avionics Intermediate Shop (R-IAIS) test stations. These test station components are vital to the overall health of AIS ATE located throughout seven (7) United States Air Force (USAF) Major Commands (MAJCOMs), Hill Air Force Base Depot locations (to include Support Center Pacific), and approximately 22 European Participating Air Force (EPAF) / Foreign Military Sales (FMS) countries worldwide. AIS components are sustained by obtaining vital services required to maintain ATE Full Mission Capability in support of F-16 weapon system requirements.

Background
The Avionics Intermediate Shop (AIS) Systems Sustainment Program, managed by the 416 Supply Chain Management Squadron (SCMS), is tasked with maintaining the operational capability of AIS Systems globally. This involves sustaining Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) components across various test stations vital for the health of ATE used by the United States Air Force (USAF) and allied forces.

The program supports F-16 weapon system requirements and encompasses locations in the USA and approximately 22 European Participating Air Force (EPAF) / Foreign Military Sales (FMS) countries.

Work Details
The contractor will provide services including:
1. ATE Commodity Sustaining Engineering to resolve technical deficiencies, including assessments, evaluations, and integration of solutions.
2. Software Integration and Maintenance for F-16 ATE components, ensuring compatibility and compliance with operational requirements.
3. Maintenance of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), ensuring operational capability through testing, calibration, and repairs.
4. Technical support for problem resolution at field sites, including engineering studies, failure analysis, and reliability assessments.
5. Logistics support documentation preparation for provisioning data related to ATE commodities.
6. Quarterly reports on obsolescence and sustainment activities.
7. Liaison services with USAF and other stakeholders to facilitate communication regarding technical issues.

Period of Performance
The contract period is from January 1, 2025, through February 28, 2025, with an optional extension from March 1, 2025, through February 28, 2026.

Place of Performance
The contract work will primarily take place at Hill Air Force Base in Utah and may extend to contractor facilities in San Diego, California.
