Automatic Transfer Switch Inspection, Maintenance, Testing, and Repairs

Background
The National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) is a national laboratory owned by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and managed by The Alliance for Sustainable Energy. NREL is dedicated to research, development, commercialization, and deployment of renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies. NREL has 26 Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) systems across its facilities and is seeking a Subcontractor to provide inspections, testing, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs of ATS systems to prevent loss of power to critical equipment and research activities.

Work Details
The Subcontractor is required to perform annual inspections, preventive maintenance, testing, and emergency repairs on each of the individual ATS systems at all NREL locations. This includes identifying system components at end of life or damaged prior to component failure, expedited 24/7/365 on-call service for emergency repairs, and providing a 6-month parts and labor limited warranty period on any repairs performed to NREL ATS systems.

Period of Performance
The anticipated period of performance is 12 months with four 12-month option periods, with annual funding expected to be approximately $40,000.00 ($200,000.00 Ceiling if all options are exercised).

Place of Performance
The geographic location(s) for the construction projects will be at NREL's facilities.
