Description:

Integrated Security Technologies (IST), 520 HERNDON PKWY STE C, HERNDON VA 20170-6218, has been awarded a $1,636,205.49 Firm Fixed-Price contract for the sustainment of the Automated Access Control System at Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY). This contract includes a Base Year plus Four (4) Option Years.

This contract was awarded on a Sole Source basis in accordance with FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(B), Only One Capable Source.

  • Sole Source Justification: The Sole Source Award is based on IST's unique knowledge of the existing systems/infrastructure and security posture maintained via the Automated Access Control System (AACS) at NNSY. As the dealer of record assigned by the manufacturer (TYCO SoftwareHouse), IST has proprietary rights to technical data of the hardware/software for the Software House Cure 9000 AACS currently installed at Norfolk Naval Shipyard.

  1. The Norfolk Naval Shipyard requires life cycle sustainment of the Automated Access Control System (AACS). This includes but is not limited to hardware and software support, defect correction, and preventative maintenance/inspections.
