Background
The solicitation is for the Augusta Non-Emergent Ambulance Service, set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) only. The contract period of performance is from 10/1/2023 to 09/30/2028. The Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center requires a 24/7 ambulance service consisting of Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), and stretcher van transport services.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide ambulance services, including BLS and ALS in non-emergency situations, and specialized transport of supine Spinal Cord Injury patients and bariatric patients. The services will cover transportation between two divisions of the medical center, three Community Based Outpatient Clinics, and six states. The contractor shall furnish all personnel, supplies, and equipment necessary to provide the services.

Period of Performance
The contract's period of performance is a five-year pricing period with the base year pricing period starting from October 1, 2023, to September 30, 2024.

The place of performance includes Downtown Division located at 950 15th Street, Augusta, Georgia 30904; Uptown Division located at 1 Freedom Way, Augusta, Georgia 30904; Athens CBOC located at 9249 Highway 29 North, Athens, Georgia 30601; Aiken CBOC located at 951 Millbrook Avenue, Aiken, South Carolina 29803; and Statesboro CBOC located at 658 Northside Drive East, Statesboro, Georgia 30458.
