Augmented Reality Photo Booth

INTRODUCTION:
The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) - Fort Knox, KY is issuing this Sources Sought Synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify potential sources having an interest and industry technologies available to construct an Augmented Reality Photo Booth. The Photo Booth will be a custom real-time photo compositing system (photo station) with a custom written software program. The system will allow delegates at a live event to have their picture taken in front of a green screen and then composited into one of three different scenes, of the operators / delegates choice. Then, in real-time, the picture is shared to an online server where tablet devices (with custom written App installed) can read and share the picture on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. The Augmented Reality Photo Booth shall consist of the following:

Custom written programming of the Augmented Reality photo system
(A system that captures the user likeness (photo) and composite onto a rendered background (an image that will be approved/supplied by the Army) and distribute it to the tablets to share to social media platforms)
Android/Windows app for Live Social Sharing
(Live social sharing on three social media channels)

Social Media Channels to include:
Facebook
Twitter
Instagram

Augmentation of 2-3 images to be supplied by the U.S. Army

Custom cloud service for one (1) year

Control hardware:
CPU system (also known as main system)
Approx.. 40" viewing screen
Four (4) tablets (either Windows or Android)
Live Camera
Green Screen System
Lighting System
Cables, Tripods, and other accessories as see fit
Router for WiFi (WiFi to be handled by the U.S.Army)

On-site set-up and training at Fort Knox, KY
One (1) year of 40 hours of telephone support

The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement, if a requirement materializes. Based on the responses to this sources sought notice/market research, this requirement may be set-aside for small businesses (in full or in part) or procured through full and open competition. All small business set-aside categories will be considered. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding submissions.

PROGRAM BACKGROUND
This requirement is for the United States Army Mission Support Battalion, Fort Knox, KY. This will be a Contract, for a period of coverage: 01 Aug 18- 31 Jul 2019.
Delivery Date: 01 August 18.

ELIGIBILITY
The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 541922-Commercial Photography with a Small Business Size Standard of $7.5 M. The Federal Supply Code (FSC) is 6780 Photographic Sets, Kits and Outfits.

SUBMISSION DETAILS
Interested businesses should submit a brief capabilities statement package (no more than ten 8.5 X 11 inch pages, font no smaller than 10 point) demonstrating ability to provide the products/systems listed in this Technical Description. Documentation should be in bullet format.
Your response to this Sources Sought, including any capabilities statement, shall be electronically submitted to the Contract Specialist, Valerie Perry in either Microsoft Word or Portable Document Format (PDF), via email to Valerie.d.perry.civ@mail.mil no later than 12:00 p.m. EST on Friday, 18 May 2018 and reference this synopsis number in subject line of e-mail and on all enclosed documents.
