Description

This is a Sources Sought Notice ONLY. The U.S. Government currently intends to award a contract for installation of auditorium seating and is seeking vendors by issuing this source sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify potential sources having an interest and industry technologies available to support/provide installation of auditorium seating and to support a competitive procurement. Accordingly, the U.S. Government highly encourages all interested business (large and small) to respond to this source sought synopsis. In addition, small businesses, in all socioeconomic categories (including, 8(a) Business Development Program, Small Disadvantage Business, Historically Underutilized Business Zone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Women- Owned Small Business concerns), must describe their identifying capabilities in meeting the requirements at a fair market price, i.e., information which may help support a set- aside.

Questions for this source sought shall be submitted on or before 12:00PM CST on 16 Nov 2023. Government Response will be provided within 3 business days after receipt of all questions.

Background
The U.S. Government intends to award a contract for installation of auditorium seating and is seeking vendors by issuing this source sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify potential sources having an interest and industry technologies available to support/provide installation of auditorium seating and to support a competitive procurement. The overall theme is to replace the unserviceable auditorium seating with new options for sitting safely and comfortably while conducting training, meetings, and briefings.

Work Details
The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, incidentals, equipment, storage, assembly, expertise, and transportation necessary to perform the installation of all furniture as contained in this Statement of Work (SOW). The requirement is being looked at as a six (6) month effort. In response to this source sought, interested businesses are required to provide identifying capabilities in meeting the requirements at a fair market price. Additionally, interested businesses are requested to provide information on any relevant previous experience on similar requirements, information on how the Army can best structure these contract requirements to facilitate competition among small business concerns, and recommendations to improve the Army's approach/specifications/draft SOW/PRS to acquiring the identified items/services.

Period of Performance
This requirement under consideration is being looked at as a six (6) month effort.

Place of Performance
The contract will be performed at the U.S Army Medical Center of Excellence (MEDCoE), Blesse Auditorium located at 3630 Stanley Road, Building 2841, JBSA Fort Sam Houston, Texas 78234.
