Background
The 81st Contracting Squadron is conducting market research for the procurement and installation of auditorium seating for the Military Training Operations (MTO) at Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi. The goal is to enhance the training environment by providing durable and suitable seating for various briefing rooms.

Work Details
The contract involves the procurement and installation of 325 new auditorium seats, with specific requirements as follows:
- Room 220: 175 seats (39 ft x 65 ft)
- Room 222: 70 seats (42 ft x 32 ft)
- Room 228: 30 seats (14 ft x 25 ft)
- Room 213: 50 seats (19 ft x 34 ft)
- Room 152: Removal of 52 existing seats.

Seating Specifications:
- Removable seating with shared arms (not bolted to the ground)
- Interlocking system (bolted together or interlock at legs)
- Color: Blue (back, seat, and side arm panels)
- Fully upholstered
- Each seat to have one fold-away writing tablet (total of 325 tablets)
- Dimensions: Approx. 21” W, 33.5” H, depth of 20”
- Minimum weight capacity: 250 lbs.
- Metal frame

Installation Requirements:
- Seating must be placed according to manufacturer’s recommendations, properly aligned and level.
- Delivery at truck drop-off area; no loading dock available.
- Contractor responsible for removing current seating and disposing of it at the Recycling Center in building 4002.

Place of Performance
Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi, specifically building 7310 Phantom Street.

Bidder Requirements
Contractors must ensure that all delivered products meet specified requirements and are responsible for any damages during delivery and installation. The contractor must also provide necessary documentation for disposal at the Recycling Center.

Incumbent Analysis (see Incumbents section for more detail)
This market research effort for auditorium seating appears to have a confirmed incumbent and/or closely related prior contract activity, including Global Supply Management’s FA301625P0126 ($258,336) for replacement of auditorium seating in Carter Hall auditoriums (168 and 96 chairs) and Perfected Solutions’ FA301024P0024 ($48,947) for auditorium seating per an attached statement of work. The prior work described as auditorium chair refresh/replacement aligns with the current requirement to procure and install new removable, upholstered auditorium seats with writing tablets and to remove/dispose of existing seating.
