ATLANTIC COAST OF MARYLAND (ACMD) BERM RECONSTRUCTION - OCEAN CITY, MARYLAND. ***Pre-Solicitation Notice posted 6/3/2026. The Solicitation will be posted on or around 7/1/2026.
Background
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District (NAB) is issuing a solicitation for construction services related to the Atlantic Coast of Maryland (ACMD) Berm Reconstruction project in Ocean City, Maryland.

The goal of this project is to reduce the risk of damage to infrastructure in Ocean City from coastal storms.

Work Details
The project involves dredging approximately 1.2 million cubic yards (CY) of sand from an offshore borrow area known as Weaver Shoals, located 7-8 miles offshore of Ocean City, MD.

The dredged sand will be placed along approximately 8.3 miles of existing beach. This contract does not include any work on the existing dune or seawall.

Period of Performance
The construction duration is approximately 240 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed.

Place of Performance
Ocean City, Maryland.
