Background
The contract is for obtaining Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) preventive maintenance services for the Forestry Sciences Laboratory facilities located at 320 East Green Street, Athens, GA 30602. The contract will be awarded for a Base Year with four (4) Option Years. The contract will be Fixed-Price Contract. The Forestry Sciences Laboratory campus consists of 2 primary facilities: North Building and South Building.

Work Details
The HVAC preventive maintenance services include servicing the HVAC systems in both the North and South Buildings, which involve various components such as boilers, air-cooled chillers, air handling units, fan coil units, hot water circulating pumps, chilled water circulating pumps, electric duct heaters, motor operated dampers, split system air conditioners, upblast exhaust fan with wet scrubber, and more.

The preventive maintenance service also covers repair needs identified during preventative maintenance and emergency calls response within 24 hours after notification at any time. The contractor is required to provide all labor, supplies, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary to provide services in accordance with HVAC Best Management Practices.

Period of Performance
The period of performance of this contract starts from 1 September 2023 for the Base Year and extends through 31 August of each subsequent year for the Option Years until 31 August 2028.

Place of Performance
The construction projects will be performed at the Forestry Sciences Laboratory facilities located at 320 East Green Street, Athens, GA 30602.
