Atc Armag Gate Maintenance

Background
This contract is issued by the Army Training Center at Fort Jackson to provide maintenance for the Ammunition Holding Area (AHA). The AHA is critical for the mission success of Basic Combat Training (BCT) and supporting units, ensuring 24/7 accessibility.

Due to budget cuts, previous military teams could no longer provide necessary repair services. The unpredictable weather in the Fort Jackson area can lead to unforeseen malfunctions, making immediate repairs essential for operational continuity and safety of Soldiers in training.

Work Details
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary for maintenance and repairs on the computer and electronic gate at the AHA. Specific tasks include:
1. Preventative maintenance on two Liftmaster gates and the Genetec system quarterly.
2. Maintenance and repair of the Genetec system software as specified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
3. Unscheduled maintenance as required on both Liftmaster gates and Genetec system components.
4. Compliance with manufacturer's recommendations for all maintenance activities.

Period of Performance
The contract will be performed over a period of five years, consisting of one base year followed by four option years.
