Assistive Technology IDIQ Contract – Recompete of 28321320D00060019

Background
The Social Security Administration (SSA) is dedicated to providing appropriate Assistive Technology (AT) and other productivity tools to meet the requirements of Employees with Disabilities (EWD). This contract aims to establish an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) for the purchase of AT information technology hardware, software, maintenance, and support services. The goal is to ensure compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and Section 508 of the Federal Rehabilitation Act, which mandates accessibility in Information Technology for individuals with disabilities.

The SSA currently supports over 8000 EWD employees across its offices nationwide.

Work Details
The contract includes the following items:
- **0001 Base Year**: Assistive Technology hardware, software, maintenance, and support services for EWD.
- **1001 Option Year 1**: Same as above.
- **2001 Option Year 2**: Same as above.
- **3001 Option Year 3**: Same as above.
- **4001 Option Year 4**: Same as above.
- **5001 6 Month Option Extension**: Same as above.

All products must be compatible with SSA's network and legacy systems, tested before deployment, and meet SSA’s security standards. The contractor will also provide installation, deinstallation, relocation services, technical support, troubleshooting services, and training documentation for all AT hardware and software.

Period of Performance
Base year plus four one-year options; specific periods include from September 28, 2026 to September 27, 2030 for the base year and options.

Place of Performance
Services will be performed at Social Security Administration offices throughout the United States and its territorial possessions, as well as at the homes of EWD who are teleworking.
