Asphalt and Prime Coat for 823 RHS

Background
The Department of the Air Force, specifically the Air Force Test Center (AFTC) at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, is seeking to procure asphalt and prime coat materials for the construction of new roads at the C-64 Range. This project supports the mission of the 823 RHS (Red Horse Squadron) in road paving operations.

The goal of this contract is to ensure timely delivery and application of high-quality materials necessary for road construction.

Work Details
The contractor is required to provide and deliver the following:
- 4,700 Tons of Super Pave 12.5 PG 58.22 Asphalt
- 20,700 Square Yards of Prime Coat

Asphalt deliveries must be conducted using contractor's equipment, with a temperature range for asphalt material between 285 to 315 degrees Fahrenheit. The contractor will also apply prime coat at least 24 hours before paving operations commence.

All deliveries will be coordinated with the 823 RHS Project Manager and must adhere to specified schedules. Any refused material due to non-compliance with specifications will be returned at no additional cost to the project.

Period of Performance
Delivery is expected within 15 days after receipt of order (ARO), with specific coordination required with the project manager.

Place of Performance
C-64 Range site, located north of Eglin AFB and east of Duke Field, Florida.
