Description

Advanced Silicon Carbide Materials, LLC* in Lihue, Hawaii is being awarded a $3,057,366 modification (P00003) to a previously awarded contract HQ0860-21-C-0002. The value of this contract is increased from $6,251,799 to $9,309,165. Under this modification, the contractor will continue to develop computer models, design tools, processes and Adaptive Optics (AO) assembly prototypes for missile defense systems. The work will be performed in Lihue, Hawaii. The period of performance for the modification is September 2022 through September 2023. Fiscal year 2022 Research, Development, Test and Evaluation funds in the amount of $3,057,366 are being obligated on this award. The Missile Defense Agency, Huntsville, Alabama is the contracting activity.
