The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS) is seeking quotes for hazardous waste removal and disposal services. The USDA/ARS Tifton location produces hazardous waste and maintains Very Small Quantity Generator status under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA).

This contract aims to ensure compliance with federal and state hazardous waste regulations through a one-time cleanout of lab facilities.

Work Details
The contractor shall perform the following tasks: properly lab pack, profile, manifest, stabilize, remove, transport, and dispose of hazardous, non-hazardous, and universal waste materials from the USDA/ARS Tifton location to a federally approved disposal site.

The contractor must provide trained labor, safety equipment, containers, transportation, licenses, special permits, and supervision. They are responsible for monitoring and maintaining all materials generated during the contract work. The contractor must prepare Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifests for each waste shipment and submit Certificates of Disposal within three months of disposal.
