Army - Property Book Office Contract Logistics Support- Market Research

ID: RFQ1683758 • Alt ID: R_GrP4YHKJzokp3YR • Type: Sources Sought

Description

The General Services Administration (GSA), on behalf of the United States Army, is conducting market research to gather information regarding Property Book Office Contract Logistics Support (CLS) for the 82nd Airborne Division. This initiative is part of a broader effort to ensure that logistical operations within the division are efficiently managed and in alignment with the Army's standards and requirements. The primary objective of this contract is to support the readiness of 82nd units by providing property book accountability and logistical support to both organic and attached brigades.

The scope of work involves providing all necessary personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other non-personal services required for effective CLS. The contractor will be responsible for managing various supply functions such as asset requisition, inventory management, issue and redistribution processes, maintaining hand receipts/annexes, property book adjustment reports, reconciliations, serial number tracking, and unique item tracking. These tasks will be performed using the appropriate property book Logistics Information System (LIS) to ensure accurate transactions and reporting.

Historically supported through the EAGLE program under contract W52P1J-13-G-0027 -0001 (EAGLE Contract) PAAT CLIN 8008EA, this requirement has been determined to be out of scope for continuation under that program. Therefore, it will now be executed as a standalone logistics support requirement. The contractor will need to provide ten qualified personnel: seven Supply Technicians assigned across different units within the division; two Logistics Analysts; and one Master Supply Technician assigned at DIV G4 level.

This market research aims to identify potential contractors capable of fulfilling these requirements in accordance with relevant Army regulations such as AR 710-2 and DA PAM 710-2-1 among others. The information gathered from this Request for Information (RFI) will assist in planning future procurement strategies while ensuring compliance with established standards necessary for maintaining equipment readiness critical to meeting Immediate Response Force (IRF) requirements.
