Description

The General Services Administration (GSA), on behalf of the U.S. Army, is conducting market research to identify potential contractors capable of providing instructor support for the Personal Financial Management Course (PFMC). This initiative aligns with the Department of Defense's commitment to enhancing military readiness and improving the quality of life for soldiers and their families. The overall goal is to equip soldiers with essential financial management skills that will enable them to make informed and responsible financial decisions, thereby fostering a more financially secure military community.

The contract involves providing non-personal training services across various Army Training Centers and Schools as specified in Technical Exhibit 3 of the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The primary task is to deliver a comprehensive 4.5-hour Personal Financial Management Course designed for soldiers undergoing Advanced Individual Training (AIT) or One Station Unit Training (OSUT). The contractor will facilitate instructor-led sessions, distribute necessary learning materials, and assess student understanding through pre- and post-course evaluations. This structured approach ensures that all participants gain a thorough understanding of personal finance management principles.

The PFMC program is integral to the Army's broader objective of integrating base support functions that contribute to overall military readiness. By providing this training, the Army aims not only to improve individual financial literacy among soldiers but also to enhance their overall quality of life by empowering them with tools for effective fiscal resource management. This initiative underscores the Army's commitment to supporting its personnel in achieving both personal and professional success.
