These events are critical in supporting our rotational training unit's mission to achieve higher training readiness levels. Your participation and collaboration are invaluable in helping us enhance our capabilities and readiness for future challenges.

XCTC 24-05, 278th ACR.

The Army National Guard (ARNG) Exportable Combat Training Capability (XCTC) Industry Day is scheduled for May 31, 2024, at Fort Cavazos, Texas, offering a unique opportunity to witness the 278th Armored Cavalry Regiment (ACR) rotational exercise by current contract requirements. This thrilling event will also serve as a platform for attendees to receive briefings on updates to the ARNG training strategy, particularly within the XCTC Program, and to gain insights into ongoing contract efforts. Attendees will be privileged to photograph various materials, training sites, and ARNG Government-Furnished Property (GFP) during this sponsored event. The itinerary includes a concise tour offering an overview of the XCTC Program, visits to specific range operation sites featuring personnel and equipment sourcing, insights into exercise support coordination efforts, and opportunities for one-on-one discussions to address any questions vendors may have. Advance registration is required for those seeking one-on-one discussions with representatives from the Army Contracting Command-Orlando and the XCTC Program Manager.

Following the successful conclusion of XCTC 24-05, the 278th ACR training event will achieve significant milestones, demonstrating our commitment to excellence. Notably, it will enhance training readiness through the refinement of Platoon maneuver proficiency on targeted high-payoff battle tasks. Additionally, the event will validate Brigade Combat Team (BCT) readiness, complete essential pre-mobilization tasks, and establish favorable conditions to fulfill the TY25 collective training requirements for organizational requirements. These achievements will serve as a testament to the quality and effectiveness of our training programs.

Background

The XCTC rotations are typically conducted regionally in an instrumented Decisive Action Training Environment (DATE) to replicate LSCO.
