Army - Generation 4 Technology Services (G4-TS) - MRAS

The Army Contracting Command at Redstone Arsenal (ACC-RSA), one of the largest contracting centers within the federal government, is seeking to enhance its technological capabilities through a new solicitation for Generation 4 Technology Services (G4-TS). This initiative is being conducted in collaboration with the General Services Administration (GSA) as part of a broader effort to support various Department of Defense commands and agencies. The primary goal is to develop modern, secure, and efficient applications and solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform to bolster the Army's diverse missions. These missions range from business process automation to tactical decision support, necessitating robust technical support and innovation.

The scope of work involves comprehensive design, development, operations, and maintenance support for ACC-RSA's Knowledge Management Environment (KME), which utilizes Microsoft SharePoint Online deployed on a Cloud Services Platform. The contractor will be responsible for leveraging technologies such as Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), Visual Studio Code, Node.js, and associated developer tools. The KME operates within both Non-classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNet) environments and a limited set within Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet) via an Impact Level 6 cloud infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include providing project management and technical support for operation and maintenance activities. This includes enhancing business system solutions to address complex problem sets in support of ACC-RSA's mission objectives. Contractors are expected to deliver detailed analysis and evaluation of technical information related to approximately 10-15 new development projects annually. Among these projects, 2-3 are anticipated to be highly complex due to their integration requirements across multiple Power Platform components like PowerApps, Power Automate, custom SPFx development, and sophisticated data modeling using Microsoft Dataverse.

Furthermore, contractors will manage platform configuration and administration tasks such as site collection and configuration across SharePoint Online sites. They will provide expert recommendations on enhancing user experience through SharePoint Online features while performing advanced content management activities including document version history management and permission configurations. These efforts aim at optimizing collaborative efficiency within the Army's technical environment.
