Description

The U.S. Army Materiel Command (AMC), through its Chief Information Officer (CIO) and G6 division, is seeking comprehensive IT support services to enhance its command, control, communications, computers, and information technology (C4IT) capabilities. This initiative is part of a broader effort to modernize the AMC's IT infrastructure and ensure seamless communication and information flow across the enterprise. The General Services Administration (GSA) is conducting market research on behalf of the Army to identify potential contractors capable of fulfilling these requirements.

The primary goal of this contract is to provide mission systems support services that encompass engineering and program management, enterprise service management, governance, business management, and operations divisions within the AMC CIO G6. The contractor will be responsible for developing and maintaining the IT architecture that aligns with strategic goals while ensuring compliance with Army-wide IT standards. This effort will involve managing network operations, enhancing cybersecurity measures, conducting data analysis, acquiring systems, and integrating new technologies into existing frameworks.

The scope of work requires contractors to deliver systems analytical support aimed at improving business processes and facilitating technology adoption within the AMC. This includes conducting thorough business process analyses to identify areas for improvement and modernization. Contractors will gather functional requirements from stakeholders, propose solutions involving software and hardware components, implement new systems after rigorous testing, integrate them with existing setups with minimal disruption to operations, and provide training for effective use by end-users.

Contractors are expected to have a strong grasp of business operations along with technical proficiency in software applications and data analysis tools. They should possess excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with stakeholders at all levels as well as analytical problem-solving capabilities necessary for handling complex data scenarios. Additionally, contractors must demonstrate an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams in development, testing, and operational capacities.
