Description

Army Contracting Command of Rock Island awards a firm fixed price sole source contract to OBXTEK to continue AESMP SETA support. Please see attached J&A for rationale of not competitng the bridge action.

Background
The U.S. Army Contracting Command – Rock Island (ACC-RI) is awarding a firm fixed price sole source contract to OBXTEK for the continuation of Army Enterprise Service Management Platform (AESMP) System Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) support.

This bridge contract is necessary to ensure uninterrupted services while a competitive follow-on acquisition is completed.

Work Details
OBXTEK will provide SETA support services, including acquisition support, contract support, field management, mission service test and support, quality assurance surveillance plan operations, Government-furnished equipment provisioning, project management, communications, engineering, and logistics support.

The contractor will assist with oversight and program management of the AESMP, which includes supporting the Army Information Technology help desk under the AESMP contract. The AESMP is crucial for IT service management and supports the Army's Unified Network and Zero Trust Framework.

Period of Performance
1 June 2023 through 30 November 2023, with six one-month options to address potential delays in the follow-on competition.
