Background
The Army Corps of Engineers, Charleston District, is seeking Cathodic Protection Services to ensure corrosion control at various Department of Defense facilities worldwide. The goal is to maintain the integrity of petroleum facilities at Defense Fuel Support Points and military installations, capitalized by the Defense Logistics Agency - Energy.

Work Details
The contractor will perform annual Cathodic Protection (CP) surveys and corrosion control actions at approximately one hundred military installations worldwide, with the first modification covering around 34 installations.

Tasks include obtaining services from a 'corrosion expert,' conducting CP surveys, assessing structures for CP needs, performing economic analyses for potential CP applications, and documenting findings in survey reports. The contractor must interview local staff, research site conditions, and prepare operation & maintenance manuals.

Reports should include CP inventory, condition assessments, compliance sections addressing regulatory requirements, and detailed cost estimates for recommended repairs. Monthly progress updates are required.

Period of Performance
The services extend from task order award through project completion with monthly updates required.
