DESCRIPTION OF INTENT
The Program Executive Office Ground Combat Systems (PEO GCS), Product Manager Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle (AMPV) is conducting this Market Survey to assess domestic U.S. industry interest and current market manufacturing capability to produce future AMPV vehicles,.

AMPV DESCRIPTION
The AMPV is a tracked vehicle and the materiel solution to replace the Army's Armored Personnel Carrier (M113) Family of Vehicles (FoV) within the Armored Brigade Combat Team (ABCT). There are five AMPV variants (General Purpose, Medical Evacuation, Medical Treatment, Mission Command, and Mortar Carrier) replacing the corresponding M113 FoV operational support mission roles.

Background
The Program Executive Office Ground Combat Systems (PEO GCS), Product Manager Armored Multi-Purpose Vehicle (AMPV) is conducting this Market Survey to assess domestic U.S. industry interest and current market manufacturing capability to produce future AMPV vehicles.

The AMPV is intended to replace the Army’s Armored Personnel Carrier (M113) Family of Vehicles (FoV) within the Armored Brigade Combat Team (ABCT).

Work Details
The AMPV is a tracked vehicle designed to fulfill operational support mission roles.

There are five variants of the AMPV: General Purpose, Medical Evacuation, Medical Treatment, Mission Command, and Mortar Carrier, each replacing corresponding M113 FoV roles.

Respondents are asked to provide information about their relevant experience and ability to produce heavy ground combat vehicles.

A complete Technical Data Package (TDP) is not currently available for the AMPV vehicle.
