Armed Security Protection and Patrol Services (ASPPS)

Background
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, 'Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Services,' in conjunction with 15, 'Contract by Negotiation' as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), Office of Acquisitions (OA) has a requirement for Armed Security Protection and Patrol Services at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS).

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, material, and other items necessary to provide Armed Security Protection and Patrol Services (ASPPS) as per the attached Statement of Objectives. The services include armed security protection and patrol services at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS). The contract includes a base period from March 16, 2024, to March 15, 2025, with options for additional services in subsequent years until March 15, 2028.

Period of Performance
Base Period: March 16, 2024 - March 15, 2025; Option One: March 16, 2025 - March 15, 2026; Option Two: March 16, 2026 - March 15, 2027; Option Three: March 16, 2027 - March 15, 2028

Place of Performance
The performance location is specified as the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) in Research Triangle Park, NC.
