Armed Security Guards Services at USAG - Italy   3

Background
The U.S. Government requires the contractor to provide armed security guard services to ensure compliance with DOD and U.S. Army mandates for physical security on Army installations in Italy. The contractor shall ensure only properly vetted persons are permitted unescorted access to U.S. Government installations and facilities.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide non-personal armed security guard services specified by this PWS and those Special Guard Orders applicable to each Access Control Point (ACP) throughout United States Army Garrison-Italy (USAG-Italy) installations. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, tools, materials, transportation, equipment, labor, and supplies unless identified as U.S. Government Furnished Property. Personnel employed under this contract shall be used to provide static installation access control, visitor processing and vetting, roving security patrols, alarm activation response, alarm system monitoring (unarmed), static personal security, or any other security related function.

Period of Performance
The period of performance shall be for one (1) Base Period of 9 months, with four (4) 12-months Option Periods. The Period of Performance is anticipated to be as follows:
Base Period: From 16 September 2021 to 15 June 2022;
Option Period 1: From 16 June 2022 to 15 June 2023;
Option Period 2: From 16 June 2023 to 15 June 2024;
Option Period 3: From 16 June 2024 to 15 June 2025;
Option Period 4: From 16 June 2025 to 15 June 2026.

Place of Performance
The geographic locations for the armed security guard services include Vicenza Military Community in Vicenza, Italy and Darby Military Community in Livorno, Italy.
