Armed Guards Level II Security Service GA

Background
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP) by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for the procurement of Level II Armed Security Guards. The requirement is to provide security services at disaster-related sites and facilities within the declared disaster area in the State of Georgia. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) FEMA has a need for Contract Security Guards to provide security services at operational Federal Facilities, immediately upon opening, in response to disasters such as hurricanes and tornadoes.

Work Details
The solicitation requires the provision of Level II Armed Security Guards for placement at disaster-impacted areas and sites in the State of Georgia. The vendor must be able to provide personnel, facility, and asset protection. The offeror must follow specific instructions contained in the solicitation and submit complete proposals that directly respond to the requirements outlined in the Statement of Work (SOW). The proposal will be evaluated based on technical capabilities, past performance, and price. Offerors are required to submit proof of inventory of Level II Ballistic Vests, firearms and ammunition inventory, management techniques for armed guards at multiple locations, staffing plans for call orders issued against the Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA), business license, financial capability documentation, and SAM registration verification.
