Subject: The scope of this project is for the procurement of an item previously
supplied by Meggitt (North Hollywood Inc.) (CAGE 79318) Part Number 156317-1.

Description: DLA Land and Maritime (Columbus, OH) proposes to enter into a firm-fixed price, long-term indefinite delivery contract (3-year base and 2 options years) with an estimated annual dollar value of $458,904.24, which includes fixed-price option years as the approach to adjust prices for future contract periods. This project is comprised of one NSN (6105-00-900-0614), which supports several different aircraft platforms including the Navy LCAC and the Airforce KC-135. The purpose of this Acquisition is to provide long-term stock coverage while reducing both administrative and production lead times at economic prices. The solicitation will be issued utilizing Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.5 procedures with other than full and open competition. This solicitation is being issued under the First Destination Transportation (FDT) and the First Destination Packaging (FDP) programs. On this project, the Governments delivery requirement for the NSN is 295 days.
