Argonne Site Access Management Solution (SAMS)

Background
UChicago Argonne, LLC operates the Argonne National Laboratory under a prime contract with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). The mission of Argonne is to advance science and technology through research and innovation. The goal of this contract is to procure a Site Access Management Solution (SAMS) that enhances the visitor and worker experience during site access, ensuring compliance with DOE and laboratory requirements for visitor screening and processing.

Work Details
The contractor will be responsible for providing IT hardware, software, implementation services, maintenance and support, and training services for the Site Access Management Solution (SAMS). SAMS will replace the existing Gatepass visitor management system and the third-party DSX badging system. All services must meet or exceed DOE and Argonne requirements. Key tasks include:
- Development and implementation of a comprehensive site access management solution that includes visitor screening, processing, and record-keeping.
- Issuance of Local Site Security Officer (LSSO) badges for site access.
- Providing ongoing maintenance and support for the SAMS.
- Delivering training services to ensure effective use of the new system by staff.

The contract will be performed at Argonne National Laboratory located at 9700 South Cass Avenue, Lemont, IL 60439.
