Background
The solicitation is for an Architect and Engineering (A-E) Services Multiple Award Task Order Contract primarily for the Fort Worth District and Southwestern Division Area of Responsibility. The contract is unrestricted with a Small Business Reserve. The work involves full design for new construction, major renovation of an existing facility, design-bid-build request for proposal, value engineering, total building commissioning, and construction phase services.

Work Details
The contractor is required to demonstrate experience in various areas including DOD Force Protection/Anti-Terrorism criteria, UFC codes, LEED certification, EISA 2007 Section 438, Commissioning, ASHRAE 90.1 requirements, Fire Protection and Life Safety Design using NFPA codes 70 and 101, and preparation of construction cost estimates using the MII program.
The offeror must also demonstrate the team’s capability to prescribe the use of recovered materials, waste reduction, pollution prevention, energy efficiency, and conservation on facility design.
Additionally, the contractor must provide a Small Business Participation Plan based on MATOC capacity.

Place of Performance
The geographic location for this Contract is the Southwestern Division Area of Responsibility which includes Texas (TX), Louisiana (LA), New Mexico (NM), Oklahoma (OK), and Arkansas (AR). Firms based in or having branch offices in Texas will be given preference.
