Background
The solicitation is for a contract to provide labor, materials, and equipment for tree trimming and removal at the USCG Diamond Head Lighthouse in Honolulu, HI. The work involves trimming a mango tree, cleaning mango fruits and dead branches, containing the tree away from power lines by 4’ - 6’, as well as trimming and removing coconuts from three coconut trees on the property. The contractor is also responsible for removing and hauling away waste and debris.

Work Details
The scope of work includes providing labor, materials, and equipment for tree trimming and removal at the specified location. The contractor is required to trim a mango tree, clean mango fruits and dead branches, contain the tree away from power lines by 4’ - 6’, as well as trim and remove coconuts from three coconut trees on the property. Additionally, the contractor must remove and haul away waste and debris. The contractor is also responsible for covering surfaces that may be damaged during the work period, performing the work with minimum noise and nuisance during the workday, keeping dust down to a minimum, obtaining necessary permits, working within a five-day (Monday through Friday) work week with specific work hours, notifying the contracting officer representative (COR) in writing seven (7) working days prior to commencing work, complying with safety and security regulations, providing temporary barriers and shrouds to protect the work site area and occupants, keeping the COR fully informed on the progress of the work, utilizing onsite bathroom facilities located at the community center during the workday, among other requirements.

The contract will be performed at USCG Diamond Head Lighthouse located at 3399 Diamond Head Road in Honolulu, HI.
