Description

  1. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
  2. Solicitation Number W912D0-25-Q-0008 is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items (non- personal services) prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and FAR Part 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal (RFP). THIS ANNOUNTCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; PROPOSAL ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN

SYNOPSIS WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2025-01, dated 12 Nov 2024. This acquisition is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside under North American Industry Classification Standards (NAICS) code 811412, Appliance Repair and Maintenance, with a size standard of $19M.

Requirement. The 413th Contracting Support Brigade, Regional Contracting Office Fort Wainwright Alaska, is seeking a source to provide supervision, personnel, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, and other items and other items for non-personal services to perform maintenance and repair of Government-owned appliances as defined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS) and the Technical Exhibit(s), except for those items specified as government- furnished property and services. The Contractor shall ensure adequate staffing, sufficient parts and materials and other resources as necessary to provide services within the allotted response/repair time.

Background
The 413th Contracting Support Brigade, Regional Contracting Office Fort Wainwright Alaska, is seeking a source to provide supervision, personnel, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, and other items for non-personal services to perform maintenance and repair of Government-owned appliances.

This service aims to ensure that appliances are reliable and operational for soldiers, thereby improving their quality of life.

Work Details
The Contractor shall provide supervision, personnel, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, and other items necessary for the maintenance and repair of Government-owned appliances.

The scope includes approximately 1,350 kitchen ranges and counter cook-tops, 1,350 refrigerators, 1,350 convection ovens and microwave ovens, and 500 washers and dryers. The Contractor is responsible for service and repair of all appliance components starting from the appliance’s connection to the structure.

The Contractor must have or obtain appropriate service manuals for the equipment involved. Coordination with the agency controlling the appliances is required for access and work scheduling.

Period of Performance
The period of performance shall be for one (1) Base year of 12 months with four (4) 12-month option years and a possible 6-month extension as needed.

Place of Performance
The work will be performed at United States Army Garrison – Fort Wainwright, Alaska including all barracks and the Furnishings Management Office warehouse at Building 3566.
